
Mozambique is a democratic country since the 1990 Constitution. The executive power is comprised of President (Head of State), a Prime-Minister and a Council of Ministers (Cabinet). The current President of the Republic of Mozambique is Armando Emilio Guebuza.
Mozambique is a member-state of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC). The SADC free trade Protocol is aimed at becoming more competitive the Southern Africa region, eliminating tariffs and other trade barriers.
